Campania Fiano IGP

  • Denomination: Campania Fiano IGP
  • Description: This is the traditional base Fiano of the Sarno family, dedicated to the peacock, a symbol of nobility and prestige. In the past, aristocrats kept aviaries within their estates, as did our Baron. In his memory, the Sarno family continues this legacy. The nose reveals white flowers, fresh fruit, citrus, and mineral notes with vegetal hints. On the palate, it is fresh and savory, medium-bodied but with excellent persistence.
  • Grape Variety: Fiano
  • Soil: Here, the volcanic-origin soils are rich in minerals and have an adequate skeletal structure. Their south-facing exposure provides perfect sunlight, complemented by the influence of Mount Terminio and Mount Partenio, creating an ideal habitat for Fiano.
  • Aging: Whole-cluster pressing, fermentation in stainless steel, about 2 hours of maceration directly in the press, followed by approximately 8 months of aging in stainless steel. An additional 4 months of bottle aging before release.
