I paint because I enjoy doing it.
I’ve always found it a natural gesture, a simple act that is part of me.
That fluid movement, sometimes slow and sometimes fierce, with which the hands move brushes that, combined with colors and a surface, manage to express feelings and emotions,
is a sign of leaving a mark in the world.
I haven’t always painted throughout my life.
I have created in various periods, but intermittently.
I have done other things, finding different ways to communicate my identity.
Painting is a way to express freedom, and like all great forms of expression, it has the power to reveal us to others.
And it is precisely here that the great difficulty is born. The unease lies in understanding whether I am capable of exposing myself, many times out of fear of failure, and I have not painted.
In recent years, I have embarked on a personal journey to improve my creative communication skills, and with it, the desire to reveal myself through painting has returned. I let go of my insecurities, and I was able to expose myself by painting the current version of who I am. I have a very clear goal to achieve: to bring beauty into the world. I start with myself, with what I love, simply with the things that give me emotion. I examine my moods, observing nature, giving voice to those people or things that gift me genuine moments, and I paint, hoping to share the same emotions with others.
I was born in 1977, and I rediscover that by coloring, I lose my actual chronological age. When I paint, I immerse myself in a dimension where the expression of thoughts is not catalogued; it is magical and infinite.
The artwork I create is the finished result of that instant, the fruit of what I feel in that specific moment, and as such it is fluid and changeable.
I feel like an enthusiastic child when expressing myself. I leave a fragment of my heart in every painting. In doing so, I am captured by a new inspiration that takes me further, giving life to an impulse that carries me to create a new painting.
