  • Denomination: Red Toscana igt
  • Description: Deep ruby red. Dense with purple reflections. On the nose, it is complex, with notes of plum, blackcurrant, wild violet, and sour cherry, followed by an intoxicating spicy hint. On the palate, it is full-bodied with prominent but smooth tannins. A distinctive and enviable acidity keeps all the components perfectly balanced. The finish is long, marked by an acidic and mineral streak that extends the aftertaste.
  • Grape Variety: Pugnitello 
  • Soil: Tendentially clayey, rich in structure and potassium.
  • Aging: Manual harvest and selection through a sorting table. After destemming and gentle crushing, the grapes are vinified with maceration on the skins for about 16-20 days in French oak conical fermenters, with frequent daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation and aging for approximately 12 months take place in French oak oval barrels. The wine then undergoes bottle aging.
